Practices
Faerie Road Farm is strives to be an excellent example of practical permaculture. We consider ourselves "dirt farmers," working with sustainable and regenerative practices to build tilth and support the soil food web. We employ regenerative agricultural practices including rotational grazing, ethical animal husbandry, composting, cover cropping, waste recycling (sheep manure), bioregional crop selection, fair share (sharing with our local fauna rather than using pesticides), biochar, sheet mulching, bio-diversity planting and maintaining a healthy and respectful relationship with local wildlife.
